Community guide
The clearest official community routes are the Dazed Games Discord and the How to Fish Steam Community Hub. Use them for co-op players, current bugs, updates, guides and developer feedback.
Official Discord
The Dazed Games Discord is the main community route for development news, player discussion, suggestions and playtests. The Steam page also links to an official invite.
Steam Community Hub
Steam provides the official Discussions, Reviews, Community Hub and achievement entry points. Use recent posts for connection problems, controller questions and launch-day bugs because game updates can make old advice stale.
How to ask for help
Include the island, quest text, platform, player count and the last action before the problem. For a co-op session, state the region, voice-chat preference and which objective you are working on.
Steam Community Hub
Steam Discussions, Reviews, Guides and the achievement pages can help with launch issues and player solutions. Recent posts are most useful for connection problems, controller questions and changes after a patch.
- Sort by recent activity
- Check the game version or patch
- Compare multiple reports
- Open the original thread
YouTube and walkthroughs
Official and community videos can help players find boss names, lure names, Grillmaster, leeches, trick shots and achievement routes.
How to report a bug
A useful bug report includes platform, player count, island, quest text, exact action, expected result, actual result and whether a restart changed it.
Finding a co-op group
Share the island, goal, region, player count and whether voice chat is required. Agree on the trophy carrier and quest handoff before joining a run.
